Philosophy
The new developed building complex of SANDVIK Tooling Supply Germany Wernshausen is located near the present headquarter Schmalkalden. There are excellent infrastructural conditions having the Bundesstraße 19 and Bundesautobahn A71/73 nearby. The enterprise shows itself self-confident facing customers and business partners. A careful developed ensemble of solid and high-quality structures puts faith in the company’s inovation and achievement potential. Architecture, function and ecology are as important as the development and fabrication of the products – the one effects the other.

Structure
The production facility is one contiguous unit, flanked at three sides by related function units. Affiliated at the north side directly linked to the production lies the administration building, the development preparation center of the complex. At the east side, linked by a bridge with the production, lies the four level office building, including reception, canteen, office area and conference floor. At the south facing back side of the building, the delivery and shipping department and the steel-warehouse are positioned as an extra building.
